Publishing Your Display in RTView Cloud

Note: This document is a continuation of the flow started in Building Your First Display in RTView Cloud. Please complete the flow in that document prior to completing the steps in this document.

Once you have created your display, you can make your display visible to others by publishing the new display in a dashboard, which can contain one or more displays. To publish your display:

  • Click the Publish tab in the top menu, and then click Add Dashboard.

The Publish Dashboard page displays containing three additional tabs: CHOOSE LAYOUT, SELECT DISPLAYS, and PUBLISH DASHBOARD.

  • Click the Tabs option on the CHOOSE LAYOUT tab and click the SELECT DISPLAYS tab (or click the Next button).

The SELECT DISPLAYS tab displays.

  • Click the Show only mine check box, select your display listed in the Select Displays list, and click the Next button.

The PUBLISH DASHBOARD tab displays.

  • Specify a name for your dashboard, select the Public check box if you want to share the dashboard with everyone, select the Shared check box if you only want to share the dashboard with users inside your organization, click the Secure URL (https) check box to use https instead of http for the dashboards URL, and click the Publish button.

The Dashboard Published Successfully! message displays.

  • To view your dashboard/display, navigate to the URL listed in the message, or navigate to the View tab > Dashboards > "Dashboard Name."
