This section describes the steps necessary to upgrade existing versions of the Solution Package for Solace to the newest version. To upgrade your solution package, follow the steps for each version between the version you are upgrading from and the version to which you are upgrading.

Solution Package for Solace Version 5.1.1 and Earlier to Version 5.2

The RTView Data Server Host field in the RTView Configuration Application has been removed. However, users upgrading from previous versions who set the value for the RTView Data Server Host field will not lose their changes since that field value will automatically be used to generate the RTView Data Server Connection and RTView Data Server Query URL values, which will be saved the next time changes are saved from the Configuration Application. No further changes are required to update these fields.

Users upgrading from a previous version who enabled EM Integration (in the RTView Configuration Application) but left the Announce this RTView Data Server to the Central Server option as false will need to go into the RTView Configuration Application and set it to false again since the default has changed from false to true.

Solution Package for Solace 5.0 and Earlier to Version 5.1.1

The database table schemas in the rtvapm\solmon\dbconfig directory have been updated to include all updated table schemas. To upgrade, drop the following database tables from the RTVHISTORY database:

SOL_BRIDGE_STATS

SOL_CSPF_NEIGHBOR

SOL_VPNS

SOL_CLIENT_STATS

Recreate the database tables using the appropriate table creation SQL sentence for your supported platform which are in the rtvapm\solmon\dbconfig directory.
