RTView LDAP Integration

Users can integrate RTView with enterprise authorization and authentication systems using LDAP and Active Directory. This will enable management of RTView user access and roles using your LDAP and Active Directory.

Key Integration Features

  1. LDAP SSL support
  2. LDAP HA failover
  3. Customizable user logins (EG: user email address as username)
  4. Credential caching to enhance performance by reducing load on LDAP servers and enhancing user login performance
  5. Direct mapping between LDAP groups and RTView roles

Pre-requisites for Installation

In order to effectively integrate RTView with your LDAP system, you will need the following prerequisites:

  1. The LDAP Server IPAddress and Port
  2. An LDAP Process account and password (For Example: CN=admin,OU=ProcessAccounts,DC=sl,DC=com  MyP@ssw0rd1)
  3. The query domain for User information (For Example: OU=Users,DC=sl,DC=com)
  4. A list of LDAP groups distinguishedNames which will have corresponding roles in RTView.
  5. A Query that uniquely identifies the User distinguishingName (DN) from the common name (CN)
  6.  The LDAP server SSL Key imported into a trust store on the RTView Server (if doing SSL).
